ABOUT US
"It's been a dream of mine to open a place where I would feel comfortable taking my own dog," said Iris Feingold. Iris, her husband Norman and their son Adam are the owners of this upscale facility. "We spent all of 2006 and 2007 designing our two story pet hotel so our four legged guests will feel safe, secure and loved while in our care."
Noted Boca Raton veterinarian Dr. Jef Chadwick, of Clint Moore Animal Hospital, who has known Iris for more than 12 years, said "I have never seen anyone take such impeccable care of the emotional and physical needs of their pets. Iris is always very serious about the treatment and care of her animals. It would be an honor to have her care for any of my own family members."
"We created an environment that will appeal to the most cautious and protective owners who are typically unwilling to leave their pets anywhere but at home," said Iris Feingold. One of the unique features of Preppy Pet Suites is the UV protected air conditioning system that eliminates most air born viruses and bacteria. This is crucial to pet owners who want to avoid respiratory problems when they board their animals. Cats and dogs are housed in seperate areas to reduce anxiety and to create a harmonious atmosphere. The Feingold's personally screen all potential boarders to make sure there are no temperament issues that would disturb the other guests.
Some of the other features of this home like environment, include seperate and secure play areas for all size dogs, five different luxury suites, outdoor natural and artificial grass play areas, flat panel televisions throughout, seperate glass enclosed cat area with three level cat condos, and a 125 gallon aquarium. There's also plenty of play time in the specially supervised areas and soothing music to help our guests relax.
The Feingold's will be on site 24 hours a day. "We would want someone on-site to be there for our dogs Shadow and Sheba wherever we would leave them". Preppy Pet also offers high tech video cameras so pet owners can monitor their dogs on line during their stay.
